This brownie is a great one! It's nothing too fancy but just a whole lot of chocolate! It's nice having the pecans in there too; it's add a little more decadence to it. This brownie would be great with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup chopped pecans
PREPARATION:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9" baking pan. In medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs; blend well. Add flour, cocoa and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate and pecans. Pour into greased pan.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until set. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into bars.
Looks great! I'm hungry...
